Chelsea FC lead the Premier League after the Xmas fixtures and ahead of Monday night's first matches
                                        in 2021, after 5 wins and 1 draw and looking favourites for the Premier League title.
                                        Wayne Rooney has been in sensational form for the Blues with 31 goals in 24 games, adding Antoine
                                        Griezmann to their squad increases their firepower and attacking threat.
                                        RSC Anderlecht continue to surprise everyone in 2nd place and chasing Chelsea, with only 1 defear in
                                        6 matches and playing some good football.  David Neres has 21 goals in 25 games leading the team
                                        Lucas Biglia has been a revelation in midfield, with his passing, 11 assists and 11 key tackles.
                                        Real Madrid have moved into 3rd and after some impressive 10 goal wins and scoring goals for fun,
                                        Luka Modric continues to pull the strings with his passing and assist, in attack Edin Hazard, Lihadji,
                                        and Vente have been scoring the goals and now they have signed Harry Kane for more firepower.
                                        Ajax FC have moved into 4th place with some impressive performances, and a run of 5 consecutive
                                        wins.  Ajax boss Stevie has marshalled his team well, the performances of Dusan Tadic in midfield
                                        have been key and his 11 goals, along with Haaland in attack with 11 goals they have sold their star
                                        Jeremy Doku to Manchester United so can they continue their great form?

                                         At the bottom, Nottingham Forest really struggling with 8 successive defeats and change in players
                                        has not had the immediate effect the manager was hoping.  Sanchez, Tevez, Rashford and Suarez
                                        have all joined the club will be hoping to change the club's fortunes.
                                        Zenit St Petersburg also struggling with 4 defeats in 6 games and 2pts from 18 pts not great form,
                                        Dyzuba has weighed in with 13 goals and but defense has been their problem and an absent
                                        manager.  Rangers have also slipped into the bottom three with 5 defeats in 6 matches and taking
                                        just 1 pt from possible 18 points and in real trouble.  Signing strikers Ciro Immobile and Teemu
